Set in Malta, Angel on the Dead Tree follows the adventures of Thomas Newton, a teenage boy stranded in a foreign country, as he becomes embroiled in a mysterious web of deceit. At the centre of this labyrinth of lies is the boy's elusive father and Thomas must follow a dangerous trail of riddles in search of an ancient treasure dating back to the 18th Century and the Knights of St John, in order to unravel the mystery and find his father.

About the Author

L J Watson of Scarborough is a retired teacher of English & Drama and grandparent of seven! Inspiration for writing Angel on the Dead Tree came from the author's own love of the popular mystery/thriller writers including Dan Brown and Robert Goddard, but felt their was a gap in the market for teenage equivalents.
