We deal with the book trade on a daily basis, with all of our titles made available through the traditional mainstream booksales routes as well as through the online market.

We are unique as although we print to the demand, we also supply small stocks of all of our books to the major wholesalers and retailers, so that our books can be in stock in bookshops on sale or return as well as being available on demand.

All of our Essentials and Bundle packages for each imprint include the essential sales and distribution listings you need, and you have the option to upgrade to a global distibution package at any time.

Sales and Distribution Listings
Once you're officially on your way to becoming a discovered authors under any of our imprints, our trade & retail teams get busy preparing and sending off forthcoming publication details of your title to the booktrade in the UK and Ireland.

First your ISBN will be registered with Nielsen Bookdata 'the leading provider of comprehensive, enriched and timely bibliographic data worldwide' The data sent to Nielsen bookdata includes a whole host of information, the most important being;

ISBN
Title
Author Name
Publisher
Publication Date
UK Retail Price
Rights
Page Count & Size
Short & Long Descriptions of Title
Author Biography
Several Reviews
UK Distributors
Genre

We send registrations to Nielsen every Monday and once registered, the information can take 7-10 working days to appear on the Nielsen database and will then be sent out to all book retailers, wholesalers and online points of sale.

The big bookshops and wholesalers, such as Waterstones, Borders and Gardners take an automatic nightly feed of new data from Nielsen so this should happen fairly swiftly on confirmation of registration, however many independent bookshops use a monthly manual update from a disk, so this can take longer - wise to keep in mind when planning local press.

If you have requested an AI (advance information) pack, this will also be prepared at this stage, and once your registration is completed and we have your cover image ready, be sent out to your local bookshops well in time for publication date.

Then details of you and your title will have.

* UK Amazon account listing with a 48hr delivery promise
* Personal title page in our DA Title Library
* Personal author page in our DA Author Library
* Personal author profile in our DA Drawing Room
* Option to ugrade to Amazon Search Inside The Book and Google BookSearch for £60

As soon as you have approved your final proof we will give pre-press the go ahead and make the files publication ready so on publication date, your book is ready to be launched into the booktrade arena for readers to enjoy.

And voila! Your book is available and you can begin to enjoy the feeling of being a published author.

Global Distribution Package
