About the Author: Judy Clements was born and educated in North West London. She has travelled the world extensively with her life-long partner Ron Cushing, visiting many countries in South America, Europe and South East Asia. She and Ron spent nine years living aboard their classic wooden boat Fram, sailing the Mediterranean and Baltic seas before crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean and South America. Judy now lives in Suffolk and enjoys landscape painting, travelling and walking, as well as writing. Judy and Ron still own Fram, sailing on the East Coast and Western Europe, living aboard Fram for much of the summer. Judy is currently in the process of writing a book on their lengthy travels and adventures in Burma.
